Standard Fare
A small, but technically challenging commission for a front window bar counter at Standard Fare, for the incredibly talented Kelsie Kerr (owner of Standard Fare). The goal was to have front window space for customers to dine at and for the counter to be a singular, clean surface that occupied the same plane as the building's seismic bracing. We came up with an elegant solution/design for a two-part top that fit cleanly around the steel tubing of the seismic bracing and conceals alll the hardware that makes this possible. Counter in VG Doug-fir.
